Busy life...

I'm going home today after class. I can't wait. I'm so sick of school! Saturday my parents, Daniel and I will be spending hundreds of hours in Columbus.  We're meeting with 2 caterers, a photographer, baker, and picking up pieces to my dress. If there's any hours left in the day, Daniel and I are going to register! I'm excited for Saturday.

I have 3 papers due next week, haven't really started any of them.  I'm taking 24 credit hours next quarter, so I think I'll dig myself a hole and come out for graduation in June.  4 years has flown by, hasn't it?

This entry seems extremely scattered and random, but that's probably cause I'm in class half paying attention to what's being said and half paying attention to what I'm writing.

Daniel's making me dinner tonight and I can't wait! I'd be happy with HotPockets from him, so anything's going to be amazing :)  Just so I know that in less than 7 months, I won't be the only one always cooking. haha.

I often wonder what happened to everyone from high school, how they're doing, when they're graduating, what they're doing, if they're going back to Marion...I feel like I'm the only one moving back to Marion and am not going to have anyone to talk to besides my parents, sister, Daniel, and his friends. I guess we'll see....

I haven't written in a long time, and for good reason! I've been super busy.  I started and finished my last Fall Quarter at WSU, came home for Christmas break, worked at an internship, saw lots of family and everything else. So it's 2008.  Time to graduate! I say it every time I write, that I want to start writting more regularly, but it's almost a lost art. No one's on here anymore. Maybe it'll just be a good journal for me, and if someone happens to stop by once in a while, that's ok too. :)

Well, for now, Happy New Year! I'm off to Polaris to find a new purse :)

Tick.....tock....tick...

Today's going terribly slowly! I got to work around 9:15, did a few things that needed to be done, and I've been so bored! I've been here an hour and a half and it feels like it should be noon already. I should have brought my computer to play the Sims.  Yes. I play the Sims at work.

I was on Stalkerbook, cause there's obviously nothing better to do, looking at pictures of people. Then I went through and looked at all the pictures of me that people have tagged.  I must say, I've changed quite a bit over the past few years, and so has my hair. lol...I've been thinking of lightening it up a bit, and looking at the pictures, it's not such a bad idea to maybe get some swoop bangs going again.  I think they make me look a bit older.  I was going to dye my hair last weekend, then thought, "I always throw it up during the summer, so why waste the money to dye it now? Just wait till before school starts when you'll be wearing it down a lot more." So I think that's what I'm going to do.

My best friend had mentioned going to Vegas for her 21st birthday in November a while back, then changed her mind cause she wants to be close to lots of people for her birthday. I don't blame her..however, we better go for New Years!

Ugh, I'm even typing too fast....time's just not going fast enough.  So while I was sitting here looking at pics of facebook, I had my legs crossed lady-like and my left arm drapped on top.  Then my hand fell asleep. It was kinda wierd cause my hand wasn't in an abnormal position or anything..kinda scary?

Alright, well, rather than babbeling on like a fool maybe I'll go chekc out the huddle. HARK! The phone!..................... Well that didn't last long either...

I can't believe it's August already! This summer is flying by, especially now that Oz is over.  Yes, rumors are true..haha, not really rumors cause I think everyone knows by now, but Daniel proposed to me opening night after the finale of Oz.  I feel like I've told the story a million times, so I don't need to again on here.  There's a video of it on YouTube in case you're curious.

The heat is overbearing.  It's been in the 90's pretty much all week.  And of course, our AC is broken in the house!  I've been sleeping like total crap the past few nights cause it's so blasting hot.  From now on, until the AC is fixed, I'm sleeping in the basement.  Ever notice how people always say warmer temperatures make people more irritable? Completely true.  Within 5 minutes that I was awake this morning, my mom was driving me INSANE!!! And I swear she cares more about the stupid cat than she does either of her daughters, but that's a whole nother story that shall never be told...

Ah, what a happy life I have. lol....I want to start planning some stuff for the wedding, which won't be until Summer of 2009, but I feel so discouraged.  Mom says there's no point in planning now, Dad doesn't care, Sarah would rather not talk about it.  I know I have a lot of time, but what fun is it to be engaged if you can't plan anything?

Ok, this is so much more depressing than I had intended, so I'm going to play the Sims or something..

Laughing uncontrolably!

hahaha...I think I'm just slap happy, cause it makes me laugh really hard that I haven't updated this since Easter! Bwahahaha   Ok, seriously though, my life is crazy right now, and kind of a mess, but I don't like to think about that part, cause it's summer, and I don't need to be stressed during summer!
In a nutshell, I've had the worst day at work all summer.  My boss had back surgery a few weeks ago, so basically, I'm running a huge contracting business....by MYSELF! It's been an experience, that's for sure.   I think the hardest part is filing and doing little things like that someone else's way. But I'm managing..litteraly! haha. It's pretty sweet, I get to do payroll, and pay the bills, and keep the accounts up to date and all that jazz. It's a great experience that someday I hope will help me get an amazing job.

hmm..don't know what reminded me of it, but guess what!!!! WE SOLD THE HOUSE!!!!!  Yea.  It's amazing :) Now my font's really small..let's try to fix that.. Better? ah, yes.

So I was supposed to have an internship this summer at Crown Tower, pretty much the coolest store in Marion, but summer sucks for business there, so I'm doing it over Christmas break when things will really pick up and I'll get to be involved in a lot more things for the resume

I know my thoughts are all over the place, so bear with me..next on the list is Family Reunion, after I continue with today's saga.  So I came into work this morning, and Thursdays are Payroll days, so I was all geared up to do that, no problem.  Then the owner kept asking me to do little things, like make copies and find different things for him.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad about it.  They were easy things, for the most part, and he was really nice about it. It's just that jobs kept adding up.  And I had to find this lady's phone #, this is the most frustrating part of the day for me, cause I found it on Tuesday, but didn't write it down cause it was a copy, in pencil and I couldn't read it, so I just put it back exactly where I found it, this is crucial for later in the story, and went on searching for it elsewhere to see if I could actually find it so I could read it.  Makes sense? I haven't lost you yet, have I? Ok, so today I"m looking for this number, knowing that I saw it 48 hours ago and can't find it ANYWHERE!!! Driving me nuts! I looked for over 3 hours. This office isn't that big, it was so frustrating.  So I went to lunch, came back and did a few other things, then started to look for it again.  Ending up the same place I did earlier, frustrated and without a stinkin telephone number. So I'm like "Ok, just start at the beginning of the file cabnet and start looking, it must have been misplaced and you found it by luck on Tuesday". I'm so glad I thought that, cause the lady's last name begins with B, it was filed under A. Whew! Found it!! AMEN!! And wouldn't you know, low and behold, her cell number is written at the top plain as day! Ah, made my life so much better.

OK so this weekend we're having a family reunion at the house. I'm rather excited about it.  There should be around 50 people there, all from Illinois and Michigan, all my mom's side of the family.  My grandparents are coming down tonight, and all my mom's siblings and families are staying at our house and coming down tomorrow sometime.  Everyone else is staying in a hotel across town, haha, and coming over for pizza Friday, if they're here, and the big event is Saturday.  Yea, so I'm honestly excited about that. It'll be a good time :)

Since I seemed to write another book, I'll conclude this chapter. Guess I'll go read some of my book. It's good, but rather graphic. Don't know if I'd suggest it to others yet or not.
